The 2026 NORFOLK MARATHON will again include Gimingham within its route. The event is taking place on Sunday 19th April 2026. As in previous years, profits from the event will be used to fund community projects through EPIC Norfolk, including exercise classes for older adults and people living with dementia. In addition, over 60 runners are taking part while fundraising a minimum of £250 each for one of EPIC Norfolk's local charity partners. Please be aware that road closures will be in operation on the day from approximately 10am until 3.15pm. and marshals will be patrolling traffic. Roads in use include Church Street, Mill Street, Heath Lane, Grove Road and Gimingham Road heading towards Trimingham. Further details can be found at www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/5650182013.
